Historic Sun Records. The 3rd Print in our Memphis Series.
Sun Records is one of America's most iconic recording studios and a Memphis landmark. Founded by Sam Phillips in 1952, Sun Records was the first label to record Elvis Presley, Charlie Rich, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash. This picture was taken on a cold January night in 2021 as my lovely wife, a proud Memphian, cheered me on.
