Striding confidently…
I have loved wearing cowboy boots ever since I bought my first pair after seeing Ariel’s red boots in Footloose. When I pull on a pair of cowboy boots, I find myself striding rather than strolling. They lend a certain confidence and purpose to any outfit.
When I got the idea of trying to paint this feeling, I got Jed to take a picture of me striding in my favorite boots as inspiration for the paintings in this series. More to come soon!
