It was a crisp fall day in New York. There was just enough chill in the air to make you want to bundle up against the cold and stay home. But I knew it was time to get out and take some pics. I had been to this spot a number of times and made a mental note to come back in the height of the fall color. I'm really glad I followed through on that task. So much of photography is just showing up - getting out there when you really don't want to. You can't get the shot on your couch.
